How Dragonball Z was even a kids show? True, earlier cartoons and anime have mature themes but DBZ have a plenty of “WTF” or “HOLY SHIT!” and painful cringe moments.

Absolutely, the first time this occurred to me was during this scene:

Sure Twilight has a very forgiving nature (e.g. Discord, Sunset or Trixie) but if you really push her too far, she will not hesitate to kill you. This dive-bomb moment confirmed it again. If she truly considered to give him another chance, she could have stopped after the meteor smash move. However as seen in the above gif she was going to finish him off once and for all.

I’d just like to point out what just occurred to me explicitly:
 
That was an honest-to-God kill shot. Nevermind the whole “My Little Pony is a show for little girls” thing. Twilight Sparkle, the one we know for not being a pretty pony princess, was looking to destroy/kill Tirek with that attack.
 
Maybe that subconscious knowledge was what caused me to hold my breath during the fight.

Yeah. This show has and continues to blow my expectations away. They’ve done amazing things with Flash!

Kinda makes me wonder if I can’t do something similar (given enough time) in Synfig.

Would like to remind everyone that (as far as we know) this was done in Flash.
