It’s true! Wow I never noticed that.
I dont know actually, I’m not an expert. Most just oversimplify or replace the face to be on the safe side by being blatantly wrong. One of the funniest versions I saw was in the Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon. Their bills replaced the portraits with the Green Lantern symbol.
Interesting. How close are you allowed to get to accurate representation?
It’s simplified you… ugh.
Only the ink printed on the bills are green; and beginning in 2003, all bills, except the $1 (and the $2 to some extent), also have a background colour to them.
$5: purple
$10: orange
$20: (light) green
$50: pink
$100: teal
Le Sigh. … looking too deeply into it. Either way 300 for a guitar and 2 dollars for a cupcake makes sense.
Nah, they’re just using simplified representations of US dollars. They are very similar in colour.
Trixie being blow away by Rainbow Dash’s Sonic Rainboom: priceless.
Yea, that could work too. I was going absolute lowest price I could find that fits in the 3 bill range.
Some sort of hypothetical Americanada?
I think it’s far more likely that she was paying $150, which is about average for an inexpensive guitar.
Dash however is handing over 3 bills which could be any combo of money considering Guitars in our world go from like 30 dollars to $70k. So lets just assume Dash was paying for a cheap guitar and had 30 bucks on hand.
The different shades thing is relatively recent. Up until several years ago, they all looked like the $1 and $2 bills in that picture.
Nobody remembers Hamilton anyway.
Crap, I totally forgot about him.
Well, he was a Founding Father.
& Alexander Hamilton is on the ten.
Actually, there were more convicts for petty crimes like pickpocketing, vandalism and shoplifting than for things like murder and the like. Colonial Era Britain didn’t exactly have a fair justice system. In fact, it has only been surpassed in horridness by the American legal system.
