Yes I have it but I’ve never heard of a type that could translate written words into a verbal tune. Mine just allows me to see colors and shapes in music. For me techno is like a giant playground of a huge variety of shapes and textures and architecture, however a lot of the colored music Synesthetes prefer classical music and have been able to describe beautiful scenes from them, I myself can’t really make heads or tails of classical music since for me there needs to be a bit more of a beat because spaces between beats creates the height of the song’s architectural structure. as for you’re proposition about Synethesia allowing someone to hear a written song that they’ve never heard before is, while not impossible is highly unlikely. Isn’t there a condition where people hear words? Or was it colors? Something about one sense triggering another one.
