I think Onion is just chaotic, not really good or bad.
Could have just been trying to harpoon Steven through his shield or knock him back into the water with it. Yeah, probably not. Fun to speculate, though.
I don’t think so, he has attempted to help Steven previously with a problem, a villain wouldn’t have attempted that.
Personally, I think he’s gonna be some sort of villain mastermind that everyone’s gonna just overlook.
He’ll be like Lil’ Gideon meets Silent Bob.
I have to agree on this. Adventure Time took it till the second season before it finally dove deeper into all the characters and setting. Steven is also likely going to follow that path. Actually. It’s already doing that! Every episode seems to introduce either a new look at the Gems or the people of Beach City. So we are always seeing something new about everybody coming into light.
It… um… certainly made me see Onion in a new light…

Oh don’t get me wrong, Steven Universe has its number of strange things, too. It just takes place in a more normal human(+ super heroes) world.
And believe me, I said Steven Universe is my 2nd favorite for a reason. AT is still my #1 favorite show on Cartoon Network.(although, that could change if Steven Universe starts to develop as much as AT has over the seasons. Such as an episode showing the past of Steven’s mother.)
This show is weird too, and I find that adventure time shows some pretty neat thing; but I guess adventure time’s weirdness has it’s own charm for different people.
