Like how Blueblood vanished after so much backlash. Or Flash Sentry. Or Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Or Flim and Flam.

Now, don’t get me wrong; I’m a firm believer in redemption, and I think that Gilda could easily redeem herself if she swallowed her pride. Heck, despite the mistakes she made, it is still clear that she does legitimately care about Rainbow Dash. I honestly wouldn’t mind a tearful reconciliation scene between the two. But she’d need to apologize to Dash’s other friends first.
…Heck, her apology could easily end up being something hilariously awkward. That alone would make it worth seeing.
But unfortunately, she’s probably never going to be seen in the show again.
