It feels bad, man. You ever heard someone acting in an appallingly stereotypical way, like so stereotypical that it goes beyond funny and you actually feel somewhat angry for being offended by those stereotypes because this person is validating them all by him/herself?
 
That’s Tumblr’s hat. Pure and simple. The trouble is, is it’s a place that fosters and encourages people to voice their opinion, no matter how stupid, uneducated, or (dare I say) retarded, in an environment where people are guaranteed to read it. Granted this leads to some entertaining and genuinely good content, but it’s like a grape bobbing around in an ocean of urine.
 
And when I say it’s worse than 4Chan, I mean that in the sense that it’s every bit as rotten of a pit of scum and villainy, but without the self-awareness and self-parody of 4Chan. When you make fun of 4Chan’s shortcomings they cheer and agree, and then ask you to show your tits. When you make this about Tumblr, despite it being 100000% TRUE, shit hit’s the fucking fan royally. It’s a damned pit of first-world problems, crybabies, claimed mental illness, and fucking labels.
 
That being said, for fair and balance, I can list off three really good Tumblrs from the top of my head from the MLP fandom alone:

-MyLittleHeadcanon
