Twilight? Both ‘definitely not’ and ‘sorta’.
Even if she was trained up to the max, she would never have martial deftness or attitude to pull something like that off.
However, I could see using an alteration of that technique.
Twilight’s Infinite Sword Technique:
Imagine Twilight taking out a single sword and holding up her other hand. She casts a spell that creates a similar ‘barrier’ around her and the opponent. She then lifts her sword into the sky and suddenly a hundred energy swords shoot up and come down over the entire sealed area, except where she is. A more experienced opponent manages to dodge them, but they are now all over the area, and then Twilight starts teleporting at any angle, immediately picking up the sword and striking them. The swords have enough power in them to either injure the opponent if it hits, or knock them back a little if they can’t block completely. She continuously teleports before they can counter to where she teleports to the next sword in the enemies blind spot and strikes again. Then, by the time they are exhausted and leave themselves open, she attacks and hopefully connects with her real sword then summons the remaining swords to launch themselves at the opponent from the ground as the finishing blow.
(Of course, like Mifune’s technique, if the opponent has enough reflexes and power to deflect every attack, the whole purpose of the technique, to do damage, is shot.)
This is how I’ve always seen MLP Samurai’s
Rainbow Dash-Dual Wielder(cause of wing use, might even use a 3rd in her mouth Zoro style)
Twilight-Flying Swords style(uses telekinesis as her skill to wield 3-5 swords)
Rarity-Single wielder(free hand for magic use)
Applejack-Wields large 2 handed katana(uses her strength to her advantage while keeping her feet free for kicking)
You know that makes a lot of sense now that you put it like that. Also I never thought I’d see my stuff on here. Well then, I learn something new everyday.
