While I was cropping and adding transparency, if I didn’t know better I’d think it was specifically designed for this (or maybe avatar duty) – if you trim all the empty space from the sides, it basically turns out to be a perfectly square image.
As fantastic as it looks as full size, the style lends itself perfectly to lower resolutions.
I think people like the story of someone who succeeds in the face of adversity as opposed to having nothing.
It’s because I think that Derpy is young, like the Mane Six. I have he nonexistent opinion that she and Dinky are sisters.

I also heavily dislike the idea of her being a mother.
I agre 100%, I find it excessive and taking away from her ‘better’ fandon traits of being a mother and a mailmare.
