Those problems with consistency can easily be attributed to lessening annoyance in the former and the sheer pointlessness of adding a limit in the latter.
He had unlimited flight in Sonic 2, (when he’s computer controlled) and in “Sonic Adventure 2,” but only when he’s outside of his vehicle in the chao garden.
There pretty isn’t much “logic/consistency” in the games.
(Just look at the moon after SA2.)
Pegasi have no problems with flying for long, I guess. But you could’ve at least chose a more… “stable” mare, Tails.

Two negative comments actually. Surprised about the no downvotes. I guess people on this site don’t seem to mind other Sonic characters as much as Sonic himself oddly. Also this has Derpy who everyone loves.
Because pony fans are hypocrites, just like most fanbases.
I don’t get it, pony-fans hate it when people hate on them, why hate on Sonic fans?
