That’s what I meant by “well-fed”. Anyway, the distinction seems to be that these are all beings “beyond” normal ponies, so to speak. The four Alicorn Princesses, the Changeling Queen, the only known Draconequus, the twisted dark sorcerer… Starswirl might be the one exception, but even though we know little about him he wasn’t your average unicorn by far.
 
(As for Luna, maybe the artist thought that one version of her was enough and went with the more powerful/impressive one, though YMMV on that.)
 
(Not that I don’t want to see everyone you mention done in this style, quite the opposite.)

Because Cheeselegs was jacked up on magic from Shining. Again, if her and Cadence are here, the rest of the main six and Shining (and Luna, seriously why isn’t she here?) should be here too.

The artist uses “mythical”, which is admittedly a bit ambiguous. If it’s about sheer power then Cadance is at the bottom of the list, yeah, though certainly more powerful than “average” ponies (which is also rather ambigious, really).
 
A well-fed Chrysalis took down Celestia in single combat, though, so I’d argue she has he power requirements down.
