I still say, every once in awhile, Rarity turns into a moth and eats some of her dresses, as a side effect of Twilight’s spell.
She should turn into a changeling next then.
It is, and I’m sure it’s no coincidence. Twilight’s spell made Rarity go through a “metamorphosis” to become a flutter-pony. It stands to reason that metamorphic spells like this have that “cocoon” effect.
To me, it actually looked closer to the magic she used to transform Rarity in “Sonic Rainboom”.
Indeed. A sort of magical cocoon. Makes one wonder if it was originally modified changeling magic…
