I meant ‘fundamental force’ as in: gravity, electromagnetism, the strong atomic force and the weak atomic force.
This is a very interesting concept that’s why its called yin and yang, not called yin yin and yang or yang yang and yin. There would need to exist two forces of “order” for both there powers to coexist equally in the same universe.
I honestly don’t remember; it was a while ago. I’d probably stand by my reasoning if I remembered, though.
I’m certain the following facts are involved. Discord performs miracles on a whim, simply by deciding they’ll happen. This suggests the Chaos he embodies is a ‘fundamental force’ to that universe. And coming from a different universe, the matter Eris is composed of is different on a quantum level.
Maybe… having two in one universe would would act like poles of a circuit, shorting each other’s abilities out?
… or, sharing a universe alters it’s Chaos in a way that neither could use it properly?
… or, with two equal ‘Lords’ present, perhaps the dominion of Chaos would be granted to neither.
