To be fair, he did flee from Akainu after the Paramount War.
Yes, essentially the dark dark fruit acts like a gravity well/black hole that draws in anything towards it. This is unlike other logia types where users split apart when they are attacked. Teach’s powers are also unique where he can cancel out other devil fruit user powers, but I believe he has to be in close proximity to the user to have that effect. That’s why most of his attacks revolve around getting users within close range.
IIRC, Teach’s pain tolerance is pretty high. I seem to recall him mentioning to Ace (during their fight) that having the Yami Yami no Mi basically means he absorbs more punishment than most people, so he has to be able to tank shots. It’s just that Teach is kind of a coward sometimes, and to be fair, he was going up against the legendary Whitebeard at the time his cowardice showed itself. Against anyone else, he seems to have no problems fighting.
Teach has zero pain tolerance. Get him on the ropes and he starts begging for his life.
Just got to hope that he doesn’t have his crew waiting in the wings.
I think a Sombra victory would be the preferable one in this case.
It’s still a “Everyone else loses” scenario, but Teach is probably the worst of the two.
Yup, Yami Yami No Mi (Dark Dark fruit) and Gura Gura No Mi (Tremor Tremor Fruit) powers, the pirate who’s a living contradiction.
Hope to see the newest issue come out and see what is up with that joker guy.
