Currently taking American history between the war and the present. Subsequently, this year marks the 150th anniversary of the Thirteenth Amendment. Anyway, assuming the founding of Equestria coincides with the arrival of the Mayflower in the 1600s, and if we stretch the history of America from 400 years to about 1000, there was probably a lot of time before Twilight was born where stallions didn’t have as many freedoms.
 
I’m half-joking, but I do have a few ideas on an abridged series where the pivotal roles of Spike, Shining, Mac, and others is to whine about being persecuted while every mare ignores them. Shouldn’t be too hard, especially with S04 footage since everypony definitely seems to ignore Spike’s well being and most stallions are treated chivalrously, which is something modern Americans have less of thanks to (and I use this term since “feminism” has definitely become misconstrued these days, lel) female activism. XD

We all know mares a like a jar of m&ms and 10% of them are poisoned
