Ace and Lancer pretending to be babies AGAIN!!!!!!

That fist paragraph shows one of my biggest annoyances with this fandom. Those who watch a fanatical brony’s biased review of the previous generations(coughMrEntercough), and base their thoughts on just that.

Name one other episode that did this. That’s right; there was no other episode that used blackmail as a solution to the problem, unlike what Thomas Oliver thought in his fundamentally-flawed “review” of Tales.
 
And it’s not like a certain other pony show, where the main characters regularly abuse their little dragon “friend.” Maybe Twilight has a few good moments with Spike, but he still got thrown around. Not to create a fallacical argument by bringing attention to that rather than refuting, of course.

I think it’s the fact that the good guys resorting to blackmail was the solution to the problem. There was more than one episode like that.

People give this episode too much flak. Tales only had a few flop episodes; FIM has them too… Great show when the characters aren’t flanderized.

Maybe so, but not every kids show needs an aesop in every episode. Personally, I think this was simply intended to be a funny episode.

This is from one of the most ****-ed episodes of My Little Pony Tales. In it, Teddy the greaser pony’s secret is found out by Ace and Lancer here. To put a lid on it, the pony girls hatch a scheme get Ace and Lancer to dress up and act like babies. What the two don’t find out until the end is that the girls were secretly photographing the whole thing. The girls get Ace and Lancer to keep their mouths shut by threatening to release the photos if they ever mentioned Teddy’s secret again.
