I like it that Dash is more amused than impressed, she probably just thinks of Jones as an older, male edition of Daring Do.
You rebucked NOTHING, I was saying why he looked unamused, nothing more, I never said anything more then that.
And I rebucked it stating that it’s only human (and other sentient beings) nature to get excited when meeting someone you admire. Besides, she’s old enough to know not to continuously act like this. It’s just the initial meeting.

That’s more of an academic thing, since teachers generally frown upon relationships with students. Daring Do is not a student…granted he’d probably not like the fangirlism, but that would probably give way during their adventure or Daring would take a hint and stop.
Still if she’s acting like a fangirl I doubt he would like her, as I said he didn’t really like it when his own students where fawning over him.
He fell for that annoying showmare. A butt kicking, adventurous mare would certainly be a better trade off. (And she kind of reminds me of Marion.)
