Also, there tends to be more martial arts fighting in Sentai(more hand to hand fighting with people being hit).

It’s more or less the same, but Sentai has more drama and mostly better characterization going on. There is some blood and death and and more perverted jokes, but that’s due to cultural differences; Sentai is still aimed at a very young demographic in Japan. Sentai is also a bit more slower paced than Power Rangers. There’s more quiet moments and the music is much more passive than Power Rangers. They are also a bit more low key on the effects than Power Rangers. Compare Samurai’s morph to Shinkenger’s morph.

i never watched super sentai, but i know that’s where power rangers came from, so what i’m asking is how does it compare to power rangers?
