Basically toys means ponies while dolls means humanized characters. is this IP comes with Dolls this means that they aren’t giving up on the humanized character stuff yet.

That said, changing the past and making them all have to re-find themselves will allow Twilight to have a second chance at becoming an alicorn which doesn’t suck enough balls to qualify it as a rotary pump. And you know what? I’m so down with that, because I want to see her become an alicorn in a way that isn’t retarded.

If we are lucky maybe it will be a actual Friendship is Magic movie. I remember seeing some weird prototypes ( not sure if official or fanmade ) pony toys one involved AJ having a somewhat rainbow mane.
 
Though if it is a movie I think an interesting plot for i would be a villain travels through time to alter a point in the mane 6’s history. That point being when RD did her first Sonic Rainboom. Think about it if RD never did the Sonic Rainboom then Twilight would have never passed her entrance exam, AJ would have most likely stayed in Manehatten, etc. ( yes I release this is basically the changing destiny thing again, it just doing it better then in MMC )

The actual show will be split into six different shows, each focusing on the different characters. Multiple episodes will be done from different perspectives and each of them will slowly bring evolution to the characters.
