It’s not bad, and has some interesting things about it, but yeah I agree. I actually feel the “Sonic Boom” show is better. (While it’s not great in the “plot” department either, at least the humor is nicely done, and make it feel more like a “Sonic parody” in a way.)

I’ve seen a few episodes of the show. I think some of the characters seem like they have potential (Skeebo, the ghosts), and I enjoy hearing the FIM voice actors and actresses. But the plots are rather clichéd and repetitive, and the dialogue is almost painfully cheesy. I don’t try to compare shows to FiM, but even on its own the show isn’t very good. I mostly just watch it for the voices.

Just ‘cause something is a Japanese franchise, doesn’t mean only Japanese people should handle it. (I think the American Sonic the Hedgehog comics are pretty good personally.) There’s actually alot of cartoons based on Japanese video games.  
Besides, Japan has done anime/manga versions to American properties to. Including Batman, Ninja Turtles, Disney’s Stitch, and even Powerpuff Girls.
 
Also on a geeky note… Voice actor Ian James Corlett is actually Clair Corlett’s (Sweetie Belle) father.

Oh God, I remember the first cartoon. It was AWFUL.

So, wait, am I the only person who noticed that one of the character name’s is Betrayus?

This will will probably fail due to the fact that MOST PEOPLE DON’T HAVE STEREOSCOPIC 3D TVs.

And, oh god, there’s Pac-Man junior. He’s got a kid. While he’s in high school. Making a show about a teen parent is unexpectedly ballsy of anyone.

Currently the only good thing about this is the fact there are gonna be K’Nex figure blindbags for it. Only care about Pac-Man and the 4 important ghosts.

Well, it can’t be much worse than the 80’s pacman cartoon.

The Christmas special was from the show, it just got re-shown unlike the rest of it.

An adaptation… of Pac-Man? Pac-Man has literally no story. At all! How the hell is that supposed to work?

…They’ve brought some MLP VAs to the cast.

Personally I’m disappointed they chose a high school setting and yes I am aware of the irony considering the current situation.
 
With Pac Man they had so much potential. They could have taken the opportunity to craft an entirely new world with a strange new systems on how things work. How ghosts are incorporated into society and treated. How pac pellets affect people. What Pac Mans role in this society is.
 
They chose high school. Disappointed, but it could still be good. Danny Phantom and Batman Beyond had similar settings and were good, so this has a chance.
