Could fit them perfectly.
Rachel Dashward: She’s the best at all sports, but whatever you do, NEVER EVER challenge her!
Rosaline Belling: She really like shiny things. Her greatest profession is making clothes.
Penny Princeton: She’s the party chick. Her favorite thing is balloon, and hanging with her homies.
Jackie Apples: She’s a girl from the farm. Sends apples to school sometimes.
Florence Shutterman: The timid outcast, who loves animals. She joined the gang after a while.
Agreed on race; there is next to nothing tying any pony to a particular human ‘race’. Clearly, the ponies have cultural upbringings, but cultural upbringing =/= skin tone. (Equestria doesn’t correspond to any real-world country or ethnicity, anyhow.)
What I find bizarre is when humanizations delete aspects of the character’s personal philosophy and cultural upbringing, and superimpose a new one. Religion? What?
I would explain, but I would probably get banned again for expressing my opinion and I don’t like being unable to fav and upvote pics.
@Niggoslav_Krawczyk
I have said my piece, my principals, my beliefs, and my opinion as a whole. Twilight when humanized could be represented by any skin tone in which the artist prefers, that is the their right. It called it a troll bait, PC or whatever BS you wish call it to rally white majority is really the problem with the viewer, NOT the artist.
If Fluttershy could be humanized as emo, manic, punk, busty, fat, petite, skinny, short, tall, trans, gender-flipped, and folks either are okay with it and move on, but rage calling troll/race baiting if Celestia forbid that she has dark skin (be it black, Hindu, Muslim or that like) just because the artist wanted to.
Maybe if assholes stop their bitching about the skin color, some artists might not it as an attention getter. Otherwise they might just do it to spite you, so maybe it’s you that should learn to deal or draw it YOURSELF.
Making a promise: I am drawing my humanizations, I am keeping them OFF this site only, since it’s clear black skin offend some individuals here, Lord knows I prefer my works to be critiqued by it use of technique and use of color NOT by my choice of color on characters or how much I rustled someone’s jimmies.
Please do tell me how white or asian make more sense than black for Twilight. I want to be amused.
>>yet more generic bug-eyed amerime bullshit
Well alright then.
And people will keep bitching until you accept black twilight is nothing but a contrarian trolling technique because asshole artists found that sets off people the most.
That is all it is and all it’ll ever be because this fandom ruined it at the outset, so deal.
It’s just that black Twilight DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. She’s white, maybe asian, but certainly not black. And it doesn’t matter if her coat is dark - Lauren herself said that “Color has never, ever been depicted as a race indicator for the ponies”.
What I don’t get is why did you make Spike an inanimate object?
I understand where you are coming from on people’s preference but it has begun very monotonous when one character out of six is several shades darker and someone has to voice their distaste (extreme) or preference (valid but is it necessary?) every time.
I have yet to see comments on an all white cast image of someone stating their preference or distaste on a person’s skin tone should be. It is either accepted or ignored and move on.
As an artist hobbyist and student, as well as a person of color (I am not hiding the fact that I am an animation/comic geek) I get a bit offended by people’s statements. I like seeing diversity, my friendships and relationships are due to mutual interests and not skin tone. It has nothing to do with being PC and while true most of my friends are black, I have mutual friendships of white, Hispanic and Asian. I take measure of people by their merit and actions. So, when I see comments of the like on a well crafted image like this, it is insulting, and requesting an edit to blemish the original artist’s work without consideration is degrading the fandom in general.
I am just really tired of other’s offhanded comments that having darker skin as some great sin. I like females of all skin tones but what gets me is the character. Twilight still acts as Twilight, than it does not matter if she is purple, black, white, tanned, Asian or Latin.
Just to be pedantic, there’s a difference between saying “I’d prefer this if Twilight had a lighter skin tone” and “The artist shouldn’t have made Twilight dark”.
The former is a perfectly valid matter of personal preference, but the latter is taking that personal preference and using it as an objective metric of quality, which is stupid.
There’s nothing wrong with saying you’d prefer it to be done differently as long as you don’t give the artist crap for drawing according to their own preferences rather than your own.
Wow, that was not even close of a decent edit, areas around the eyes and left index finger still have color. This fandom is really making me ill with the disrespect it gives its fan artists. Yes, you guys prove to be worst than the sonic and furry fandoms that you have denounced in the past.
Almost freakin’ done.

If you prefer an all-white cast that is fine, if you commission the artist for an all-white cast that is fine, but openly denounce an artist fan work on their choice of skin tone of their character they have spent their own free time doing: Not cool.
And have the nerve to request for someone to edit aka “whitewash” the artist’s original work: insulting.
Unless you paid for the art, either enjoy the work or move on to others than have an all-white cast. I am sure there are hundreds of others like that.
For two: watch the motherfucking pic and stop complaining about skin color stupid shit.
Note: I am being sarcastic if anyone missed the point. Wonder anyone realize how stupid it sounds either way.
and HOW does the presence of black!twi take away from the actual quality of the work?
all of my yes, take it.
