@Technature
I think you both need to chill and go do something else that you’ll actually enjoy. Maybe go play some Fire Emblem~
Certainly better than returning to a 5 year old argument.
You know, it’s people like you that show why newer players hate the people who talk about how great the older Fire Emblem games were. This is fucking why. Because “Oh, you’re using that character? Don’t you know they’re absolute shit? If you’re not using these VERY SPECIFIC CHARACTERS you’re playing the game wrong”. Like, maybe I don’t care? The game isn’t made that only a single specific combination can beat the game, it’s why the game gives you various characters with the possibility that some of them died in mind, so that IF you lost characters to fulfill this role, here. Have this person who isn’t AS good but is better than nothing.
Oh wait shit I forgot my place in this argument, let me revise this to be correct.
My opinion is bad, your opinion is fact. I am a dumb retard who doesn’t know how to read. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right. You are right.
We good now or am I gonna keep copy pasting til I’m left to stew in my obvious retardation?

I just want you to stop touting an opinion as fact, but that’s clearly not gonna happen in my life time.
Seriously, if we’re going through this shit, then Canas is literally the only person you need. Fuck literally the rest of the army. Especially since effort is the last thing we want in a game.
Erk, at the same level as Pent? Maybe. But since there’s some Guiding Ring competition in the form of Canas and Lucius, and Pent’s perfectly capable of more than just filling any Anima user needs you might have (especially since he has a Staff rank of A, making able to use stuff like Warp and Rescue at base level), promoting Erk would be superfluous.
Nino, on the other hand, starts off at Lvl 5 unpromoted during when the bulk of your team is already at or past that in promoted classes. She’s playing catch-up with your entire team until Endgame, where everyone on your team is as strong as it can be.
Speaking of which, the statistical differences between the three aren’t worth mentioning either because at no point does Pent have any trouble killing an enemy that isn’t a boss. Not to mention, his Spd differences in comparison to Erk’s is offset by his greater CON, especially if you use Elfire. Pent also has greater durability, which is helped by his Auto-A with Louise.

It is an opinion. Do not tout your opinion as fact.
Add Afa’s Drops into the mix and you’ve got one heck of a good unit.
Doesn’t have anything on Pent and Nino, though
Eliwood gets thrown overboard by Hector, team gets slaughtered at next stop
Jokes aside, better a Filly then a fully grown Pony with this kind of ship… though mind enemy Beast Killers…
Fluttershy of course she is the best pony
More to the point: You can’t really talk about who is good and who isn’t without some context. I’m just saying endgame performance doesn’t seem like a good context for units because, again, if one unit can dominate everything in the last chapters, so can (or should) everyone else. One unit isn’t worth as much at that point. Looking at things from a wider scale gives more of an insight than looking at part of the picture. Just saying.
I dunno, whenever I take the time to train the person, they usually end up being the strongest person in the group, easily beating people who I had been training the whole game and easily manages to get onto “Last Level Unit” tier.
Nino especially. There has not been a single game where I had her and she didn’t easily kill things. Yes, it takes a lot to make sure she doesn’t die, but it’s worth it.
