The price-tag
The system was $699 with two joysticks and a game. I think there was a one joystick and game version for $599, but don’t quote me.
The AES cartridges were $200+ per cart, and over time, as the MVS cartridges (the arcade system carts) got cheaper, the AES carts (the home system carts) got more expensive.

Yeah, I know. A general “Whats in the box, Babs?” would have more potential, but that’s just not how it worked out.
How expensive were they? I couldn’t find them on the store shelves back during the “Bit War” era. Couldn’t be as expensive as the 3DO right?
