Actually, I designed Scootaloo’s Witch Form as a giant cloud-scooter with a beak and deformed wings, with the eyes and beak attached to feathers that were tied around the left handlebar.
 
Yes, it’s weird.

The sad thing is, I can totally see the CMC making the contract for their cutie marks, even if they DID know what the price was. They are very desperate to stop Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon’s taunting. Well, they might wish for them to stop, but I could see that backfiring in a very gruesome way.  
(The Cutie Marks could backfire too, though, since they wouldn’t really by the CMC’s special talents as they hadn’t been ‘discovered’. So the knowledge that they had just wasted their Cutie Marks away would be quite depressing.)  
One thing I don’t get is, why would Kyubey make it that obvious (having the Grief Seed as the Cutie Mark)? Either way, it’s quite sad :-(
