Yeah, that was entertaining. Chrysalis should be happy the Tree of Harmony technically saved her life.
And in S8, she had a good plan going in theory, it’s just that five out of six of the Mean Six turned out to be one-dimensional idiots with little impulse control, and Mean Twilight conspired against her.
To be fair, Chrysalis was competent back in Season 6. She just didn’t count on a ragtag group to beat her.
