The title is from a line spoken by the Howling Banshees: “All fear the voice of death, calling to them.” Dedicated to ma3a for his excitement over GallBar
It inspired this silly picture of our rooster boi, smiling smugly as he’s about to do his crowing: to monsters such as vampires and cockatrices, he is the bringer of their death.
He is the voice of their death! (But if he were to spare them, he would demand one offering: a live green stallion, of short height~)

But he’s a griffon and griffons are half-bird and half lion. So yeah Gallus behaves in many bird ways.

Yep. Something must have altered his genes, causing him to occasionally behave like a rooster.
That explains why Gallus is on a tree.
Because he crows a lot.
