@Filliest filly
Gatta disagree, I prefer their show designs. The comic designs are boring, and generic, and basically just look like 90% of every other pony character.
And I just realized that the green one is aunt holiday and not another auntie lofty
Ahhhh, I had wondered about that since they showed up in the comics first.
Kinda makes me worry about, what kind of design they would give Trixie’s mom in the show since, she showed up in the comics first too…
I mean, show!Holiday looks good too, but comic!Lofty is better - the show version looks like Zesty Gourmand’s cousin or something.
That makes sense
Same to be honest. But I’m leaning a bit more towards the show designs a bit more. The comic version of Auntie Lofty made it seem like she was the one biologically related to Scootaloo, even though she’s not. Likewise their comic designs reminded me a bit too much of Bon Bon and Granny Smith.
With the show design, it’s a bit more obvious that Aunt Holiday is the one biologically related to Scootaloo. I also like that the two of them have different body types (I’m quite fond of chubby ponies so of the four designs DHX’s version of Holiday is my favorite).
pretty much the comics are their own separate canon
Get rid of them.
The writers don’t design the characters
Edited
Holiday looks like a copy-paste young granny Smith.
The ponies in the closet are the comic portrayals of Auntie Lofty and Aunt Holiday. They were the first, and in my eyes, superior designs.
