The both of you liste. Wether or not it continues or ends. I dont want any crying okay. the spinoff is merely telling the story of a certain time in the lives of the main characters. FIM is merely telling the story of a certain chapter in Equestrias history.
and just because it ends, doesnt mean your admiration or enthusiasm for it should end too. Even though there is no more new content being produced, be happy with what you have already and be content.

Oooh yeah. I personally love that Spike chose which culture he belonged to, a pretty mature choice for a kids show, honestly.
Good point. I suppose, I just feel that it would explain how his egg ended up in Celestia’s care. Actually, I take back everything I said about Spike leaving with Scorpan, I feel that if Scorpan did come in and revaled that, I think Spike would hug and thank him for that, because if it wasn’t for him, he would not have the family he has today. And let’s face it, Spike has a far better life(and never was subjected to racism) and good life, with Ponies, then he would have under his own kind. I mean, Dragon culture is pretty harsh.
Hmmm…fair point about Twi. She used to not even seem to recognize the existence ponies other than princess Celestia, before she left for ponyville.
As for Scorpan, I think Spike and him would have to bond quite a bit. Especially for Spike to leave the only family he has ever known.
Not surprising, she is neglectful even to Shinning Armour(her blood brother) Twilight tends to do this to everyone, so It’s not a big deal.
So honestly I feel that if Scorpan shows up, he should leave with him, finally have a “real” parent to look up to. A father. Now that should help him out. And honestly leaving Ponyville is a good thing for him.
Yah, exactly. They dont need to make him a focus, just have him fit that role really well.
I remember Castle Mania, and it drove me nuts that as freaked out Spike was, Twilight never really took a moment to help him. Like, Twi, really?
He honestly is just best as Twilight’s little adopted brother.

I understand that, but I feel like he still has a important, but small role. His best episodes are where he is a assistant, and a straight “man.” Crystal Empire pt 1 and 2 showed him as a important pillar for Twi, emotionally. In times they are a changeling, his song was actually really good.
Even in EQG, he risked life and limb to follow Twi against Celestia’s orders.
Yeah, it is a dorky role to basically be Twi’s assistant, but then again, is that really so bad?
I feel like the mistakes usually show up when they insist on writing him as a main character, instead of a supporting one.
And no, it was a writer who said that, not Meghan. A writer who left the show YEARS ago, like after Season 4.
Honestly, he should leave, leave Ponyville, leave Twilight and grow up, if Scorpan comes, he should leave with him. It’s a great conclusion to his crappy character. We don’t need more comic relief, Pinkie is enough,
