It feels like he’s a filly or a colt that finally get their cutie mark and want to tell everyone about it.

Apparently they might be doing it for more attention or just forced to, which is lame in both cases and it’s why a lot of us hate Pride Month.  
I still like the characters but i totally dislike the intentions behind them.

I thought this show already was in support of gay pride considering how much time Lyra and Bon Bon spend together

-Scootaloo’s life has been in danger several times  
-She’s so neglected that she latches onto Rainbow Dash and was so needy for familial love she lost her mind when Rainbow Dash’s parents treated her well  
-A big plotpoint was that she was being mocked and nobody stuck up for her  
-Entire sidestory about her being a cripple and finally proving herself, nobody’s there  
-In fact the aunts never showed up to any event, not even a fucking talent show where she finally got to show off.
 
I mean this retcon makes them look like absolute assholes and Scoots parents only flaw was her dad trusting his rugmuncher sister would, I don’t know, pay attention to her and not let her sign up for incredibly dangerous sporting events that could get her killed? They got caught up in their work being the only ones qualified for it but seemed loving and wanted to be with her, these two are just horrible ponies.
 
Rewatch Parental Glidance and just keep in mind she lives with these two, its pretty damn chilling.
