I wonder is she’s gonna make Chrysalis explode in chunks like Dio did when his Stand was destroyed. A man can dream.

I think it’s without question that chrysalis has no intention of doing anything but killing everything that ever lived, spiritually or otherwise, and mounting all the corpses on crystelline spires, but they can’t see it because they’re under her spell. if you don’t consider that she’s absolute stark raving chaotic evil, what she says could seem quite reasonable, and she can force them not to consider that.
 
of course it’s completely arbitrary at what point any of them can resist, so it’s pretty much the whim of the author at this point. my guess would be they all fucking die, and then chrysalis’s cannon thing finishes at the last second, whereupon she reveals this was all part of the plan and easily defeats lyra. then trixie, time something something, retcon mumble mumble I miss cute ponies.
 
I still think they’re gonna defeat chryssy by finding her long dead of her own machinations. question is if she’ll be able to drag everything else down with her.

Seems doubtful your dreams will come true even if Chrysalis lives, Demonset.

By Sunset lines, I think that she knows that this is not enough to stop her. And, to me, this is a vengeful monster route, not a vengeful hero route.

Well, that didn’t work. If nothing else, it would make Sunset Satan’s spell pointless.
