Indeed it was! Action-adventure movies are at their best when the HERo is blasting away all her enemies with zero effort, and there is absolutely no tension or suspense in the climax because it’s so obvious she’ll win. And who doesn’t love a bland, wooden Hurro who hasn’t changed by the end of the movie?

Captain Marvel is not perfect, but it ain’t far from the worst the
MCU has done. It is however a solid good film as long as you don’t
have a anger induced agenda with the movie or had an high expectations
for it.
