Description
Redo of a previous OC pic.
Decided on finally giving him a name: Arcanis, Professor Arcanis.
Redid the silhouette picture as a reflection in a mirror. Clearly a portal to equestria similar to the one at the pedestal of the wondercolts statue over at Canterlot High.

i had to change the design since it was my first time doing characters of that style
That makes perfect sense. Glad he’s good, I really like him so far.
His previous design sorta makes him look like a young, clean-shaven Abe Lincoln. But it’s probably the top hat.
He and other equestrian wizards in the Human world found some way to make themselves functionally immortal (Cannot die of old age and cannot Age but can die from external causes). The method they used to achieve it, they refuse to disclose.
He’s the owner of the other more explored mansion in my art. Florine Manor. Chateau du Neant belongs to another equestrian wizard.
Arcanis is more of General Magic than Necromancy.
He wouldn’t be the villain in the premise. He’s more of a protagonist or secondary character depending on the type of story. Though he’s mostly very serious when it comes to handling magic. some of the antagonists in the EQG movies and specials are Humans who abused the power of magic, causing it to twist them in both mind and body. That’s one of the reason why he’d be serious about the usage of more powerful equestrian magic in the Human world. Though he’s fine with the use of more harmless magic by humans
You’ve got me so curious. Is he the main antagonist in your fanfic? He’s a ghost in the present day, right?
Also his wine looks delicious (I love fancy wine, I just got a bottle of sparkling mead for my birthday recently.)
A complete departure of typical EG OC trends of having them exist in the same timeframe as the present events of the series. as for the functionally immortal aspect, imagine either one of or all of the mane 7 encountering him under the identity of a relative to him. Especially after they find out who he really is. Because as part of the biography, he’s a former Equestrian Sorceror who arrived in the human world in the mid 19th Century.
