I’m mainly referring to his hands. All dragons, even the green one in Owls Well that ran on all fours still had hands, so I get frustrated when someone gives him lion paws instead of hands when they age him up.
As for his back feet, they can do whatever they like. He is plantigrade now and even during his growth, continued to be so until he was Giga sized where he suddenly shifted into digitigrade, so there is no rule about his back feet, they seem to change drastically.

While I can understand why you don’t like seeing pawed Spike (I really don’t care for it either), the show has given people ammo for drawing Spike with paws since Ember literally has mammal paws for feet and sits down like a dog.
