I don’t believe for a second that Spike is the father. The only individual that is worth being impregnated by Spike is Rarity. My belief is that Ember had a boyfriend, who slept with her one time, and she got pregnant. This of course set the stage for a shotgun wedding. Unfortunately, Ember’s boyfriend died before the wedding. Probably because he was crushed by a rock slide, or he caught the flu or some shit. I know that’s a rather sad story. But it’s the best I could come up with.
