Could work as a nickname or title of sorts, maybe. Like Nick “Hearts & Hooves” Valentine, where maybe “Hearts” symbolises him having a caring nature and “Hooves” symbolising his will to use force where necessary or something along those lines, haha
Yeah I agree Valentine sounds better, but the swap does make some sense still. Nick Valentine has that detective feeling

Considering the Pony version of Valentines day is Hearts and Hooves day, I’d say his name fits perfectly well. Least it made perfect sense to me atleast.
I have to agree with you there. Nick hearts & hooves? I know it’s supposed to be a ponyfied version of Nick Valentine but he should been a little more creative with the name…
