That’s basically the only reason this fandom still exsist (This and Sunset Shimmer). After all people need to jerk off to something.
Those shifts involved shoehorning carbon copies of M6 and ripping-off stories directly out of fanfics that fans have absolutly no interest in. But again it’s not surprising considering the inept writers have no idea what the original ideas so great.

They’re not equiform characters so I never watched it, therefore I do not know.
The clop artists and comics are still around. I never got into brony music, so I don’t give a shit in that department.
The show has had 3 or 4 failed attempts to shift into a real G4.5 and kept extending pure G4 to unnaturally long life, like it had the One Ring. The show should have moved focus away from the M6 three seasons ago instead of artificially elongating their character arcs.
That doesn’t mean she’s no longer a fan of the franchise I mean she still does voices for FIM characters her liking eqg more than the main show just means she’s loves one part of it better than the other.
oh no, you got it all wrong. I love the show. and Seasons 5 through 9 were amazing. it’s the fandom that ruins it.

I can’t speak so much for the fandom, but the notion that the show got bad after season 3/4 is a strawman argument that has long since been debunked (though season 8 sucked hard, season 9 has been a much needed improvement). I’d even say that it goes so far as to back when Faust left at the end of season 1. It’s been 7 years and people still won’t shut up about it.

The show has over run the course it initially should have (only 4 seasons) and it feels. All the original staff has gone. After a series of dumb decisions (characters being reduces to MOV parodys, plot recycling, new dumb characters and general explotation of everything that Faust created) the new writers have proven to be absolutly incompetent.
About the fandom - all talented creative people have long left (Living Tombstone, DuoCartoonist, Wubcake). The only people now left are talentless whinny manchildren, entitled analysists and pedophiles.
It’s all lost. Unless G5 will be good (which is doubtful), there no reason to be here.
