Don’t let a canon character keep you from not using the same name for your OC. This sort of thing has happened to me before, not only with this fandom (I had an OC named Starlight) but for others too. Think of it this way, currently the show has two canon Twilights (Twilight Sparkle and her mother Twilight Velvet). Also there’s many people in real life that have the same name.
Maybe but it seems there is far more reactionary from people being vehemently in denial than from people claiming rarijack is now canon.

I said that I know rarity and Applejack are NOT COUPLE but considering all the develop behind both, and the nomerous situations they passed toguether, IF IT WERE THE CASE of the need to give rarity a boy/girl friend (cause it can be that two cases) AJ for all the history they share behind would be an logical option, or also another character who slowly follow that process to evolve the relationship with rares, not necessary a girl it can be a boy too but as I said, it can be the two cases. Not something forced and short like Ragga

I think you don’t understand me, what I say it the thing with ragga it’s nothin but a joke cause there’s not develop or evolution behind him and rarity, they don’t pass situation toguether before, they didn’t pass any conflict or solve as imdvidually as toguether, they didn’t knowed nothing of each other and most important they didn’t have time in “knowing” each other, basically they just meet a minutes or moments ago. While with Aj I see an evident evolution in the character, she and rares have passed by nomerous situation toguether, getting experience, solving differences, solving problems and situation making their relationship stronger than before and made them more closer each other than before. It is true about their relationship as a friends, but like a I was saying, in the case of the need of the existence of a couple with rarity, AJ would be the logical option for the history the two have behind (referring with the situations, conflicts etc.) or in other case, a new character that pass by all this process and as result evolving his/her relationship with rarity ending like couple. Something that with ragga didn’t happen and also that were very fool and without any logic. That’s what I refer.

AJ may be familiar with the people that she quarrels you but it is due to her role of “mother of family” that she took upon herself at the death of these parents, all as big mac who also took on him.

I believe in the rarijack couple a little, it had future and also their relationship has a development behind, that it make (if there was the case of a couple) a logic relationship evolution, but the all thing with raga it’s ridicoulous there’s not develop behind that, and the fact that he look almost same to AJ made he’s presence as a joke, and not a good one.

The people jut compare ragamuffin with applekack physical appearance, the personality it’s not the same but we just compare that cause his appearance it’s similar or even the same if AJ were a boy.
In what way were they similar in personality? Ragamuffin is self-deprecating with a complex about his “lowborn” heritage and an interest in dancing. Not seeing any parallel to EQG Applejack there.
I find good earth pony names to be tricky to come up with. Pegasi are easy (Thunderhead, Windrush, Cloud Dancer etc.) but earth ponies…
Considering how alike in both looks & personality AJ & Ragamuffin were, I’d say Rarity was definitely (if only subconsciously) projecting her emotions on this #63 knock off

Agree with you. Rarity falling for an Applejack lookalike I can get, but the whole sudden romance.. eh, feels out of place. Wonder if Hasbro told Confalone to tone down the Rarijack shipping and he did this in retaliation? ^^;
Hilariously enough one of the meanings of Ragamuffin is ‘disreputable person’, or ‘stupid’ (raga) scoundrel (muffin), which sums up his appearance in the special pretty well XD
