I love Luna, but the fandom overrates her by purely nonsense reasons “I don’t like sun xdxd” “she’s gamer/weeb xdxd”  
Both are really important, sadly Celestia doesn’t get so much love like her sister.

Which gives a far better reason for her to retire then Luna. Celestia has ruled for over a thousand years and most of it was alone to boot.

Lets be honest, your sister has been working for how long? 2 years? You on the other hoof have been a constant on pony society for over a millennia.

Poor Princess Celestia, and still don’t get it why people called the Princesses useless.

i think celestia has a lot of character celestia; is just as good of a princess as luna she does not deserve hate

I don’t know what this meme is talking about. Celestia has definitely earned a vacation. Not a retirement, no, because the nation will pretty much collapse without her.
 
Now Luna on the other hand. Because of that temper tantrum 1000 years ago. she’s waaay behind on her duties. She should’ve been left in charge together with Twilight.
 
But what they’re doing instead is leaving it in the hands of 5 incompetent civilians and a neurotic micromanager. This is all gonna blow up pretty fast.

Honestly, it stems from years of conditioning. Tons of headcanons which involve scapegoating Celestia and tearing her down in order to make her sister look better.

Maybe because the image of regality everyone had for Celestia was completely shattered while Luna’s is relatively intact.

It’s not her fault the writers have given us practically nothing with her character, well as her sister is one to the most interestingly complex ponies in the show

Again, reality sucks huh?
