Because she’s just better alright? You might be a great ruler and all but she’s just got that je ne sais quoi that completely engulfs her.

I’m just gonna take a step and say that Celestia is a Stepford  
Smiler and went through as much as Luna did, but people just wouldn’t delve deep into her character, and write her off as “Perfect” and “Boring”.

And then that person started talking about how much he/she hated Luna.  
I don’t usually do gender(he, she, him, her, etc.) in comments but I couldn’t think of how to put it any other way.
 
Also, my teachers have said this a lot lately:  
If you have something negative you want to say, keep it to yourself because it could hurt someone’s feelings, cause a fight, or break up with friends, etc.  
I don’t remember exactly how my teachers said it (because of short term memory loss) but it was Background Pony #3295 who started the whole argument.

I love Luna since Years.I mean: What do Celestia all the Time? Attack in Equestria?-Send Twilight and her Friends….. Luna had visit the Dreams of many Ponys and help them with her Problems.Think about it: What would Discord do to Celestia when Fluttershy get killed???? She is not Immortal Rarity,Applejack,Spike and the others neither except Twi.Do you think she would Celestia ever forgive when she lost on of her Friends????

She did that because Celestia did nothing to help her, causing Luna to turn into Nightmare Moon.  
If Luna can raise only the moon, how did she do I’m in the episode ‘a royal problem’? Just because she had Celestia’s cutie mark doesn’t mean she can’t raise the sun.  
Celestia didn’t give Luna enough attention, causing her to turn into Nightmare Moon, too.  
If Luna didn’t do anything importaint, Celestia would be up both day and night visiting the dream realm at night and doing her royal duties during the day, hardely getting any sleep.  
It is cruel because Luna is her SISTER and if Celestia deleted Luna from existence/life, she would have all the attention to her, which would make Celestia the cruel one. Maybe even selfish.  
Trash talking about her. You know if you hate her, there are others who don’t hate her.  
Luna is not worthless because as I already said, Celestia would be up both day and night visiting the dream realm at night and doing her royal duties during the day, hardely getting any sleep. Celestia and Luna are sisters. Who would delete their sister from life/existence? If you knew how Celestia felt about Luna and how Luna was feeling, you probably wouldn’t be so cruel to Luna.
