It has been a while since my last origami project here. With Starlight Glimmer Day 2019 (20th of March) impending I finished a project focused on her.  
This project however was made in a different way than my previous origami projects. You see, I didn’t have the origami of Starlight Glimmer anymore to set up. I made a habbit of making origamis of their characters for the voice actors who come as guests to the GalaCon. Last year Starlight’s voice actor Kelly Sheridan was a guest at the GalaCon and I made this Starlight Origami as a gift for her (I hope she received it. Since I didn’t get any chance to give the origami to her myself I gave it to Claire Corlett (along with an origami of Sweetie Belle) with the request to pass origami Starlight on to Kelly Sheridan). Prior to the GalaCon I didn’t have the time to set up a scene with origami Starlight, but I did put her on my scanner. So for this project I actually edited the scan of Starlight’s origami into a scene which I had set up just with the rocky landscape and the changeling origami.  
Unicorn origamis with manes on adhesive labels but with the horn in front of their manes rather than sticking out of it are a bit of a special challenge to make.  
The transformation of the changelings at the end of season six may have been a bit rushed and leaving a bit of a feeling along the lines of “Seriously? Nobody ever even thought of this before?” Still I wonder if Starlight might enjoy a bit of a special place in the lore of Changelings as one who (alongside their king Thorax) brought about the most extreme changes in their history. It would also be interesting to know if there are more changelings having issues with the changes similar to Thorax’s brother Pharnyx. I am curious what we may be seeing of changelings (and of Chrysalis in particular… any chance Chrysalis might be Cozy Glow?) in season nine.
