“It’s true my brother and I haven’t always seen eye to eye, but both of us do care about the hive. To me, the change was beneficial to the hive because it showed what we could truly be without harming others. But Vexen saw it as going against the way of the queen and called all of us traitors. I could still see the rage in his eyes when he shouted that before leaving the hive. Nothing I could say would ever change his mind… and I worry what he’ll do now.”
 
 
This is my changling OC, Lapis, back when she was known as Axia and when she was part of the old hive ways under Queen Chrysalis. When coming up with her designed, I decided to shorten her fangs as well as making her horn slightly smaller too. Her eyes would be navy blue along with an aqua back (though it’s not shown on this). She’s not much of a fighter compared to other changlings, so she was more of a supporter.
 
Unlike Axia, her brother Vexen was far more aggressive than she could be. Though he also cares about the hive, his attitude is more towards aggression and ruthlessness, believing that only the strong will succeed and the weak are destined to be crushed. He shows no remorse to his actions, no matter how horrible they may be, thus he was chosen by Queen Chrysalis to be the leader of her armies. Ever loyal to the queen, he rejected the change of ways under the new rule of Thorax, vowing that they will regret their disloyalty and that they will be crushed… like traitors should.
