Ahh macbeff. I loved reading that story in school.

They’re like the Legion of Doom from the DCAU. They operate independently of one another and pursue their own goals, but can call on the Guild for reinforcements in exchange for a share of whatever they were after. To roughly paraphrase how that show described it, if you’re a villain up to no good and Shining Armor and some guards show up to thwart you, you’ll have Flare De Mare and The Sludge Sisters show up to help you fight instead of having to face them alone. I just REALLY liked the idea of that XD
