Hmm, well, the helicopter isn’t exactly a rocket, it will max out at roughly 230mph. But It could technically maintain formation as long as the fighters stayed somewhere in that speed vicinity. That said, the F-14 is probably about to drop out of the sky condidering its wings aren’t generating much lift at its current speed. Pilot needs to extend them for low speed flight.
