: *sniff* I will miss them!
: I know, Pinkie, so will I…
As many of you know, Season 9 is officially going to be the final season of MLP:FiM. So I made a comic that would likely touch your heart…
Making frames, especially with teary-eyed Pinkie, almost made cry, so trying not to have an “emotional breakdown” (from making a comic I created), I played rock music on my player. Unfitting to the situation of the comic, but it somehow worked.
Frames are made in Inkscape, connected them in Photoshop.

can you stop crying?
This.
First and foremost, Hasbro is a toy company. They’ll milk a popular show while it’s still popular, then once it’s over, they’ll bring it back in another form. Transformers is an excellent example of this, with all sorts of incarnations that range from “great” all the way to “what on Earth were they thinking”.
We’ll only really know what G5 is like once it’s here. We’ll only really know if the girls will be major players once more information comes out. Maybe they’ll be referenced, maybe they’ll appear as actual cameos, and of course there’s that dreadful maybe not. I just say enjoy what we’ve got right now, because it’s been a great ride that lasted a lot longer than most of us ever really anticipated it would.
Hasbro is just doing this like they always done with their franchises. More well known is Transformers where there’s like a dozen versions of each character and plenty more to come.
Uh, no, they were exactly the same characters. Played by the same actors. Often alluded to as heroes or experts in their respective fields due to serving on one of the most famous and decorated ships in Starfleet history.
Do you watch Star Trek?
Were those the same characters though? Or supposed to be NEW characters that just had the same name?
My point was that creating NEW characters with the same name might muddy the beauty of the g4 ponies with that name.
Correcting you because you’re wrong:
A whole bunch of characters from TOS ended up getting featured in TNE, both through references and actual appearances. A few of my favorite episodes of TNE brought back both Spock and Scotty.
If there was any “besmirching of character” I’d say that’d mostly be Kirk, from which the phrase “dropped a bridge on him” was coined.
In the end though TOS and TNE are pretty different shows entirely, just by virtue of episode length and the types of stories both shows preferred to center themselves around. You can compare the way Kirk and Picard captained their vessels and make the argument that their captaincy / leadership alone made the greatest distinction.
Besides, until we have greater details on G5, we can’t really say as to how that sort of scenario might play out. TOS and TNE already exist and both are already done.
Correct me if I’m wrong, I have no idea about Star Trek.
BUT the original series characters names were never reused in the next generation and thereby possibly besmeared / had their reputation destroyed… if G5 reuses the mane6 and they suck, this could very well happen for G4.
Not to mention, what will happen with g4 toys? I doubt there will be many , they would not want to compete with their own g5 toys, would they?
So long as the fandom’s still alive, the show’s still alive.
Just look at Star Trek, yo. The original series lasted for three years (1966 - 1969) and no one’s ever going to forget it any time soon. It created an empire… all before the internet. MLP FiM isn’t going anywhere any time soon.
Edited because: Dates and things
It’s the end of the world for FIM, but not for MLP.
And on this booru I saw a meme made from famous scene from the movie 2012 where the flood was Hasbro and what was left from California represented probably MLP franchise or Generation 4. I can’t remember full dets, cuz the image was taken down from the booru (probably it was a drama bait)
Yes I am actually crying. 😭😭😭
Again, I WILL NEVER FORGET THE MANE SIX, CELESTIA, LUNA, CADENCE, AND ANY OTHER CHARACTERS WE KNOW FROM MY LITTLE PONY!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭
Why do I suddenly feel like it’s the end of the world?
This is out of her hands, though. it has been for eight years.
Faust lied to us! she never wished fo us to be happy! she wanted the money then pull the plug on the show!! SHE DID THIS!
@Toxicpinkiepie
@Mr. YumYum
@justanotherponi
Neither do I forget them. Pinkie is just being emotional (Twilight refuses to believe everyone in their world will be forgotten by us, but hating seeing her pink friend upset, she followed her statement)
I don’t think we’ll be forgetting these characters or their adventures anytime soon.
When I joined this fandom, I eventually found very great people and friends and I’m glad to have them all.
I’m very proud to be a brony and being part of this fandom.
But I must say, it has been a nice ride for all of these years, those moments won’t be ever forgotten.
Thank you MLP, thank you Hasbro, thank you, the fandom, thank you all, for everything.
The ponies
The fans
The fandom
The artist
Music creators
And the mlp staff
Thank you…for this
Let’s hope it focuses more on the characters than the lore.
It’s been officially confirmed this upcoming season, Season 9, is the last one.
Jesus loves the little ponies all the ponies of the world
