Well, without pictures, I can only guess. Also sometimes if you see a small prop a character uses that looks a bit more ‘realistic’ than TF2’s cartoony style, and perhaps if the texture might seem a little bit low-res, there’s a chance it’s a HL2 garbage prop. Things like random alcohol bottles, the newspaper, cans of a few varieties.
 
I think this discussion’s gone on for a bit too long, so basically, when you wonder where a prop or other model used in a Gmod/SFM video comes from, it either usually comes from one of Valve’s games (Half-Life 2, Portal 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike: Source/Global Offensive, Left 4 Dead 2, and a few others) or a custom addon, sometimes on the steam workshop, sometimes from elsewhere.

but the severed torso looks more like its from TF2 because it looks like Heavy or Sniper’s chest but also I now think Demoman’s Soup Can and the non-Scrumpy bottles are probably from a steam workshop as you’ve said the food is from there

[From Team Fortress 2] Fish wrapped in a newspaper (It’s one of the Scout’s weapons), baguettes could be from here
 
[From Half-Life 2] Severed torso could possibly be one of the charred corpses found in the game, the spraying liquid and puddles of ambiguous liquid could be particles and decal effects from killing antlions and zombies
 
[Unknown] Lampshades are a pretty basic thing to have props of, so they could be from anywhere. Maggots or giant worms, if they’re not the Antlion Grubs from Half-Life 2: Episode Two then I’m not sure, and Half-Life 2 has an infamous exploding cloud model, if the cloud is not just a particle effect.

also I’ve forgot to mention the other things that you often see in GMod and SFM videos such as the Burgers,the McDonalds fries, the fish wrapped in a newspaper, the baguettes, the poop, the Lampshades, the severed torso, the pizzas, the maggots/giant worms, the spraying blood, the explosion clouds and the Spraying liquid that is used as either Puke or Diarreha along with the yellow puddles what games are they from?

It’s probably the HL2 one. You see at the beginning of the game just before you enter the apartments; if you pick it up, it makes a baby noise.

I’m talking about the baby doll that looks like one you see thats been thrown away or that spider baby from Toy Story but then again a lot of the Gmod props look like stuff thats old and been thrown away

Melon is a HL2 prop (but also might be in CS:S as well), witch magazine is probably a TF2 Halloween prop, a lot of different Source games have toilet models but the Portal one is notable, I’m not sure what doll you’re talking about but HL2 also has a doll prop seen at the beginning of the game, and the rubber duck is probably also a TF2 prop, either referring to the End of the Line update or else Merasmus’s Halloween Bonus Ducks.

What about the other props that make frequent appearances in Gmod and SFM Videos such as the Melon that Spy is obsessed with, the magazine with the Anime witch girl on the cover, the toilets, the doll the people use as a baby version of the TF2 characters and the rubber duck what games were they originally from?

I thought the recognized the Sunset/Adagio spiel from somewhere…

That’s because it’s a default Half-Life 2 prop, since it’s Source Engine. It’s already there ready for use, you can use it if you don’t want to go searching for a different model.
