Many space scientists are Star Wars fans. There is a valley on Pluto named Luke Skywalker valley. (No seriously look it up.)  
Large celestial objects and things of great interest are given impressive names after diety’s and such but for minor features of relatively low importance they get to name them whatever they want.

I was almost convinced that Delta Vee was restored before she was broken. a wonderful thing by cream heart, no doubt.
 
Until i saw Cream Hearts braces.
 
Then my heart and hopes shattered.
