Metal had a pretty neat final boss theme, though.
Never read the comics, So I wouldn’t know that.
I’m thinking more of comic canon Metal Sonic.
In that he’s still a servant of Eggman, and he’s made several models of it.
That depends if it’s before or after Sonic CD, Because after CD, he became mostly independent of Eggman.
Besides, Eggman would never robotize Fluttershy and Derpy, he’s not that evil.
I’m assuming he’s being controlled by Eggman here, so therefor, he’s going to do what Eggman wants to do.
Calm down, Metal Sonic isn’t about robotization, he’s more about proving his superiority to Sonic, with the occasional bout of megalomania.
Although I suspect his attempt to take over the world was more revenge against Eggman for accidentally ramming him with a Deathray.
