Anyone can make an account and play around on it, but to actually do much, one would need to buy L$, which is their currency, and that’s done by either linking a bank account or using paypal. There’s also the premium option for monthly payments, but caution needs to be heeded with that because if a payment is missed, the account gets locked until the payment is made. The going rate for L$2,000 is USD $9.79, which the buy L$ system automatically has applied. It’s also a good way to keep track of price rates as they can fluctuate. I’ve been on there for so long that I seen the price of L$ go from $5.76 to where it is today, and it all boils down to users not being as abundant as it were back when I started over 10 years ago to today (a big drop from 120,000+ online at any time in 2008 to barely 40,000 today), and add in the cost to maintain all of the servers which bring up price.
