Or when a studio screws up like they did with Angel. Which was actually doing very well. But due to miscommunication, ended up being ended after season 5. The people in charge had wanted several more season of it because of how well it was doing. But it ended up being too late to restart the show because the stars had already made commitments to other projects.
I hate when the studio does that to a show. I remember when they told the Babylon 5 people that the show was ending after season 4. So they ended up tying all the plot points up by the end of that season. Then all of a sudden they wanted a season 5. Well, f**I. They had to quickly take everything they cut out when they were wrapping it up (Stuff that wasn’t really important) and stretch those out to make a fifth season.
Seasons 9 and 10 wasn’t that bad in my opinion.
Stargate SG-1 should have ended after season 8 and I say this as a fairly hardcore Stargate fan. There was a huge quality drop in seasons 9 and 10, because they had to hastily create a completely new storyline out of thin air after season 8 wrapped up almost everything in the show. The quality drop and the change of tone between seasons 8 and 9 was so drastic I remember wondering if I was still watching the same show.

There are many ponies that I like, including Glimmy and Dusty.
That’s strange, if you like Starlight so much, then why are you showing likeliness to lightning dust?
We don´t know what they are planning but 12 seasons are quite possible.
And the more Glimmy the better.
You forgot that something special is coming for Starlight.
Over all, I highly doubt that they’ll even end on 12, much less 11, they’re already plans for g5.
Because there is just too much unused potential.
I say 10 is good enough, Stargate sg-1 ending on season 10, why should MLP g4?
12 seasons are easily possible without losing quality.
Yeah, let’s hope they changed their mind and stretch it to s10, it’ll be nice to round it up.
