Rule 1 (the part about edits):
“Do not upload edits without either permission (ideal) or a reasonable expectation the artist is okay with them; by default, before considering their past art/behavior/statements/etc., it’s expected artists aren’t okay with changes to their signature/watermark or huge thematic changes like majorly changing which fetishes, characters, races, or political stances are in an image.
Always tag “edit” to distinguish from the original.”

There’s no indication, to my knowledge, that Kuroran is against edits. There’s no dnp against edits on their tag, and I don’t know of any events in which they may have said “No edits please.”
The part which says should be considered, by default, something they wouldn’t likely like, was for changes to the watermark (which was not changed), fetishes (no change, beyond the removal of genitalia), characters (not changed), races (not changed), or political stances (You might be able to argue it, but it’s a stretch). Most artists on the internet are fine with edits and reposts as long as they give credit to the original artist and don’t remove watermarks, and also aren’t things the artist has behind a paywall. As such, it is reasonable to assume that Kuroran is likely going to be fine with it and thus it’s not a violation of the rules.

Okay, looking through his comment history, he made a comment on >>1854437 responding to a background pony who said;

You really had to get rid of that edit? Was it really that big of a deal?

His response was this;

@Background Pony #52C7
At least the character owner asked for it.

I have no idea what the edit was, but from his response, it seems that the choice to remove the edit was from the person who owned the OC used, rather than specifically being his decision.

In fact, I don’t even know if it was someone else’s edit: alternate versions have a different tag from edits, but people will still use the term “edit” to refer to both alternate versions and edits. So, for all we know, it could have been an alternate version of the picture that was taken down, or maybe it was something in that list of things you by default should expect an artist to be uncomfortable with. And even if it was an actual edit, it was still the decision of the OC holder. As such, I don’t think it provides any evidence of him being anti-edit. I may be wrong, of course, but I am fairly certain this is not a violation of the rules.

Also, I like that you went on every one of the images and put that exact same content. Rule #6 says “If you think someone is violating a rule, submit a report instead of otherwise calling them out (such as with a comment). Don’t submit reports in bad faith, such as frivolous reports to attack others.” I mean, yeah, right here I’m technically doing the same thing, but I’m not saying this to try to call you out. I’m trying to clear up misunderstandings and educate you on some parts of the rules.
