I guess, but accounting for size a white dwarf is smaller and would fit the size of the one seen on the show better.
Or the sun would actually be a nautron star.

Yeah other cartoons are breaking the laws of physics anyway.
And the sun wouldn’t do much again unless it was a white dwarf or something. In which case, Equestira would just be ripped apart due to the massive ammont of gravity exerted onto the poor little planet.
Cartoon is cartoon…just admire the art would be easier on the mind, trust me.
The planet size ship from Independence day 2, would be the size of a freaking truck complete to her.
There is clearly a curve to that planet. Plus this is the ‘human’ world, there is no God complex going on here.
…and a mini sun and moon orbiting close to Equestria wouldn’t cause massive gravitational waves causing tectonic plate distortions constantly destroying the planet surface. These are the background thoughts I keep having….but try and ignore.
That would cause some gravitational movement, especially when she moves arround and such. That would fuck up the planet she is on.
